At the School of Business, Economics and Law at Karlstad University (Karlstad Business School), you will have the opportunity to work in an inspiring environment together with dedicated teachers at both undergraduate and advanced levels. Responsibilities

The position involves teaching in project management, primarily on the Master's program in Project Management, but also on other educational programs and courses where project management is included. A large part of the teaching takes place online and during evening hours.

The duties include planning, implementation, and examination of courses at both undergraduate and advanced levels. After an introduction, you are expected to independently manage all stages of the course process. The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues within the subject, where you are part of a teaching team characterized by cooperation, experience sharing, and mutual support. The role also includes supervising students and participating in the development of courses and educational content. To contribute to a good working environment and the development of operations, you are present and participate in daily work and community life.

Qualifications

Eligible for appointment as a University Lecturer (Universitetsadjunkt) is someone who holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or another corresponding relevant field. Good skills in spoken and written English and Swedish are required. In addition, completed higher education pedagogy training is required. If this training is missing, employment may still occur, provided that the employee commits to completing it during the first two years of employment. • Experience in course development or pedagogical development work
• Experience in developing or applying project models
• Competence in the human and organizational dimensions of project management
• Personal qualities regarding cultural awareness
• Ability to work flexibly

• Pedagogical appointments
• Certification in project management (e.g., IPMA or equivalent)

Terms of Employment

Employment of one or two substitutes for 50%-100% starting as agreed until 2027-02-15, with the possibility of extension.
